ZELLA ACTIVEWEAR: REVIEW

Remember last week’s story in which I asked you if there were any Zella requests that you wanted me to review for a blog post? Today is the day! ? ? Did you know that Zella activewear is an exclusive Nordstrom brand? It’s impossible to find it elsewhere than Nordstrom. You can’t beat Nordstrom’s return policy and free shipping.

2. There are three types of Zella leggings. Let’s find out how they differ.

3. SOCKS! One pair of no-show socks (that don’t slip at all) and one pair of regular ankle socks that peek out from your sneakers. 

ZELLA ACTIVEWEAR LIVES IN LEGGINGS

These Zella leggings are a “cult favorite” that EVERYONE loves. They are great! They are thick and heavy. They are extremely thick and substantial. They come in a green color that I love! They’re durable and look great in black.

Note: Activewear should only be washed with other activewear. Use cold water and dry on a towel. You’re likely to ruin your activewear if you dry it in the dryer along with your other clothes. For more laundry tips, see my post here!

Sizing: I prefer a small Zella pant to an XS.

• ZELLA BODY RHYTHM BRA

This sports bra is my favorite. It’s actually what I am wearing as I write this blog entry. It is so comfortable that I have started to wear it as my everyday bra. It provides medium support. I would wear it to OrangeTheory, but it wouldn’t be enough if your bust is larger. However, it’s great for pilates and yoga. It’s also very affordable, I love the variety of colors available and the price is unbeatable! ($39!)

• ZELLA KNOT A CHANCE TOP

Many of you asked for good workout tops that you could wear over your tank or sports bra after a workout. It is so soft, it’s almost waffle thermal material, but ribbed. The twist front is my favorite feature. It hits just right, not too low so it’s very Zella activewear flattering. It runs true to size, but it’s not too loose. It was a bit tighter than I liked.

ZELLA ACTIVEWEAR WORKS FOR IT TANK TOP

This tank is my favorite of all the tanks. I love the way it’s cut, but not too much. It’s flattering when they hit you at your small waist. It is super soft and comfortable, and I love it! It also comes in other colors! It’s XS, and I believe it’s TTS. Another great perk? It costs only $29

ZELLA ANKLE SOCKS-6 PACK

Okay, I was not aware that socks were big. But then so many people asked me if I could check the Zella sucks to see if they were. They are! They’re great! They’re great! I bought two types. The ones I am wearing are regular ankle socks. They come in 6 adorable colors. These socks aren’t as no-show as the ones below, but they are cute with the socks’ colorful tops visible above the sneakers. Does this make me weird? ?) They are my favorite type of shoes for working out, as they don’t slip and stay put.

BROOKS ADRENALINE SNAKERS: THE BEST RUNNING SHOES EVER

These shoes are the best running shoes ever. Ever ever. These shoes have been my running shoes for over a year. I have very flat feet and bad knees, so I wear corrective shoes while I run. These shoes have made a huge difference in my life. Even running on the pavement, my knees don’t hurt anymore. They are the most trendy and hippest sneakers. No. But you won’t be sorry! They are my “Gerries”, which is short for Geriatric. He is just jealous. Get the shoes if you have bad knees.

• ZELLA HYDRA LEGGINGS

These leggings are amazing, guys. These leggings are amazing for super sweaty and hot workouts. When I get really hot, I tend to overheat and hate tight clothes. If I do hot yoga or exercise outside, it can cause heat cramps. These are the best places to wear leggings. They feel buttery soft and are breathable. These are a little larger than the Live In leggings. Although I ordered a small, I wish I Zella activewear had gone for an XS.

• ZELLA INTENTION TTANK

Another adorable tank for you! This tank is perfect for those who like a more loose fitting, but not too long tank. The back is adorable! I love the split detail and the cutout detail. Here, I am wearing an XS and believe it to be TTS.

ZELLA ACTIVEWEAR NO SHOW Socks-3 Pack

These are the OTHER socks-the socks with no show, which are amazing! They have a little grip at the back that helps them stay in place while running. And they are more absorbent than regular non-show socks. These socks get two thumbs up! These were compared side-by-side with the socks below so you can see how they compare. However, I did notice that they moved while rowing. This is due to the way your feet move when you’re strapped in. They moved with me for all other activities, but I had to adjust them Zella activewear mid-class.
